Practice Account FAQs

A Practice Account is a great way to test the waters and grow your investing knowledge risk-free. You'll get an authentic investing experience without using real money and receive $100,000 in “practice money” to help you get started.

Practice Accounts allow you to experience and practice trading on our Online Investing platform. They are not available on the RBC Mobile1 app or Trading Dashboard.

You can perform almost all of the same transactions in a Practice Account as you can in a real account. These include buying and selling mutual funds, stocks and options; buying fixed-income products; and monitoring your investments over a period of time.
